Coaching Requirments

Each Season you need to get a new membership number.

Please make sure to use your Legal name(ie. Benjamin not Ben)

There is a fee to this that EHA will reimburse at the end of the season

All coaches must complete Safesport training before being allowed on the ice. This is an annual requirement that expires after 12 months. You can renew your safesport with-in 30 days of expiration. After completing it the first year you will then have shorter refresher courses the following years.

Please use the link through USA Hockey(provided below) for Safesport. Do not go directly to the Safesport website.

Note: The username field is disabled at the start, but will be available once a verification code is issued and entered.

Select forgot username, if you do not have your username yet. Enter the requested information; an email will be sent with the username to your email that was used when registering for your membership. 

If you have your username and need to create a password, select forgot password and follow these steps: 

1. Leave the Username blank and enter email address you used when registering for membership, select send verification code
2. Check your email to receive verification code from Microsoft; Subject: Member Services, USA Hockey Account email verification code
3. Enter the verification code, select on Verify Code button, continue
4. Enter your Username and email, continue
5. Create a password, continue
6. Congratulations, your account is now ready for use. Keep this username and password as it will be your lifetime log-in for USA Hockey.

All coaches must complete. This is a requirement that is done once every 2 seasons. This can take up to 14 days to clear and you cannot participate as a coach until it shows in our system as completed.

The code needed is already inputted when you access the page from this link.

There is a fee that will be reimbursed by EHA at the end of the season.

Complete the age specific module for the age group that you are coaching. This must be completed prior to getting the ice.
